'FutbolNet' a Rio: el joc
The program aims to teach children between the ages of 8 and 16 the following values: dedication, respect, tolerance, team work, responsibility and effort

The methodology employed in ‘FutbolNet,’ a program designed for children between the ages of 8 and 16, consists of dividing up each session with the children into three distinct parts with the objective of teaching children the following values: dedication, respect, tolerance, team work, responsibility and effort.

The first part of the session consists of both teams coming to terms over the rules of the match. The second part of the session is the match itself. And the third part of the session sees both teams gather to discuss how well the rules of the game were followed.

The match is overseen by a ‘teamer,’ this person plays a role different to that of a traditional referee, as he/she looks to favour the interrelation and dialogue between the players.
